Hit up 3 of the biggest and alleged best markets in London this morning. Covent Garden's Apple Market is quaint and overpriced, Jubilee market has too touristy. Spitalfields was the best of the day with a lot of really unique and interesting booths. Prices were average with the high end being for true handmade items like jewelry and even beautiful clothing but then there were still stalls trying to sell chain items that could easily be found at Camden Market for half the price.
All in all it was fun to see but I think I've found my main places to go back to weekly such as the wonderfully priced fruit stand in Apple Market that goes a pound for a pound on organic fruit. Also I found an excellent paella stand today with fabulous prices and hands-down the best paella I've ever had. Delish.
Its a gorgeous day in London. The sun is out, more people are out walking than driving and the weather is holding at a perfect 71 degrees (F). I should probably head back out to one of the many parks and catch up on some paper reading, visa requirement assignments and Jane Austen.
