Today a group of us decided to take a day out in the beautiful English countryside to go off and see Stonehenge. It was well worth the 1.5 hour train ride, the 15 minute bus ride and the 2 -5 mile walk (we were undecided about how long it really was.)
Mostly this place is indescribable. I know that is cliche but I wouldn't even know where to begin to describe it. First because so much is unknown it is not like I could even go into one of my usual factual rattlings of facts. Second because describing it could not really even get at the awe of this odd yet beautiful mystery. Please enjoy the pictures of the countryside and of the phenomena itself because I had such an enjoyable time standing in its presence.
