Its about time!

Closing up shop.
The changed guard. ha.

Goodbye!

Serious crowd control for all those silly tourists!!!

Ceremonial marching, saluting, walking, gunslinging, etc.

All the Queen's horses!

On ward ho!
Good standing area!

The band played some good favorites like Hey Jude, You've Lost that Lovin Feelin and some more traditional pieces.

The guard needed changing.

So excited it was actually happening today!!!!

The crowd on the other side. We are like a mirror of that and we are right up on the railing. If someone had gotten un-happy or gone wild it would have classified as a mob.

After several failed attempts some of the girls and I finally were able to go see the Changing of the Guard. It was a fun hour. Its not a terribly exciting thing but we got wonderful seats so I thought it was super cool to be so close to all of the guards and queen's officials!!! A lot of marching and checking the grounds for stuff (like bombs and swords I guess???). Good music. Good uniforms. Great metro doing crowd control. Wonderful experience!!! This was Saturday morning!!!
I also took a video. i thought you could rotate it later but you can't so sorry its upside down!!!
